Santa Ana is the county seat of Orange County, California. It is the second-largest city in the Golden State, with a population just under 330,000 as of 2011. Located near the Santa Ana River, the city was founded in the late 19th-century after centuries of being inhabited by members of the Tongva Native American Tribe.
