Garden Grove is located in Orange County, California. It is one of the larger cities in the county, with a population just under 171,000 as of the 2010 census. Originally founded by Alonzo Cook, Garden Grove remained a small community until the railroad arrived in 1905. Indeed, the city wasn’t officially incorporated until 1956.
